Uninstall Search Bars
Having an Internet search bar installed on your PC can wreak havoc with Blackboard Vista. If you find that you are having trouble logging into Vista or using some of its features, please check to make sure you do not have a search bar installed. If you do, you will need to uninstall it.
The search bars listed below* may interfere with your access to Blackboard Vista. You may need to uninstall it if you are encountering problems with Vista. An alternative solution may also be to install and use a different browser to access Vista. For example, if you regularly Internet Explorer and like using an installed search bar, you may consider installing Netscape on your PC for accessing Vista (or vice versa).
*This is not an exclusive list. There may be other search bars that might interfere with Vista. New search bars will be added to this page as they are discovered.
