The My Blackboard Home Page

When you log into Vista 4, the first page you are taken to is called the My Blackboard home page.

Showing/Hiding Courses on the My Blackboard Home Page

1. Click the Edit Course List icon from the upper right-hand corner of the course List.



2. To the right of each course, you will see a Hide Link button in the column labeled Visibility. Click the Hide Link button to alter the course's visibility.



3. On the Edit Course List page, any courses that are currently hidden will have a "(Hidden)" tag next to them and a Show Link button in the Visibility column. To show any courses that you may have hidden simply click the Show Link button.

Rearranging Courses on the My Blackboard Home Page

1. Click the Edit Course List icon from the upper right-hand corner of the Course List.



2. From the Edit Course List page, use the Move icons to the left of each course to rearrange your courses. To move a course using the Move icons:
   1. Place a checkmark in the box next to the item you would like to move.

   

   2. The Move icons will allow you to move an item directly above or below another item. Once you know where in the list you want to place your selected item, click the Move icon next to the item that is currently in that location

   

   3. Choose Move Selected Above. The selected item will then move into the desired spot, and the item that was previously will be moved down the list.

   

3. You can restore your classes to their original order by clicking the Restore Default button.

Adding My Grades to the My Blackboard Home Page

1. Click the Channels link from the upper right-hand corner of the window.



2. From the Select Channels page, in the list of available channels, click the checkbox next to My Grades.



3. Click Save, or click Cancel to go back to My Blackboard without saving.
